VIPA

How VIPA Works

See how VIPA turns birth data into practical personality, relationship, and decision-timing analysis, what an analysis includes, and where its limits are.

Enter a birth date and time, describe something you're trying to figure out. You get back an analysis of that specific situation — concrete enough to act on.

How to use VIPA: yourself, others, timing

Yourself — energy profile and daily card

You probably already half-sense it: how you react when pressure hits, where your energy mostly goes. Which things you tackle first, which ones you tend to step around.

What VIPA gives you is a full-length mirror. Enter your date of birth, and you get a complete energy profile report — chapter by chapter on your core temperament, behavioral patterns, and relational tendencies. Every chapter is open to follow-up with VIPA.

After that, your daily card shows what kind of day this is for you — what to lean into, what to avoid. Over time, you'll see your own rhythm with a clarity you didn't have before.

Others — synastry, outsider view, team insights

Cofounders, partners, hires, family. Two people who are fine on their own can get stuck in the same loop every time they try to decide something together.

What VIPA looks at is the combination itself — where it flows, where it jams. Add someone as a contact, and you'll get a complete relationship analysis: the core dynamic, the friction points, the structural verdict. When the report alone isn't enough, you can keep talking it through with VIPA directly.

You can also step outside and see how someone else's relationship affects you; or zoom out to a team level and spot which pairings tend to create friction.

Timing — queries and retrospects

Should I take this job, put money into this, have this conversation now. Most tools help you weigh the pros and cons, but what actually keeps you stuck is usually timing and state.

Bring a specific question in as a query, and VIPA reads whether the conditions around it support the move. What's working in your favor, what's pulling against you — concrete guidance grounded in VIPA's energy algorithm.

Later on, VIPA nudges you to come back. Revisit what you saw at the time, see how it played out, notice where your reads tend to land — and where they tend to drift.

How VIPA analyzes you: from birth data to behavioral profile

VIPA is built on an Eastern observational tradition that maps birth time to behavioral patterns. Birth time is the only input: year, month, day, and the hour if you know it.

This isn't Western horoscope astrology (more on that below in "How VIPA differs"). The core logic: your exact moment of birth defines a unique energy structure. Which elements are dominant, which are weak, and how they interact — these map directly to how you behave under pressure, where your energy goes, how you relate to others, how you make decisions.

The algorithm is precise enough that even two people born on the same day come out looking clearly different. From there, VIPA translates that structure into language you can actually use — a profile, a decision check, a relationship analysis — all running on the same underlying logic, applied to wherever you happen to be right now.

What an analysis looks like: a cofounder conflict

Two cofounders disagree on product direction during a fundraising window. Here's what VIPA might say:

A defaults to acting first and adjusting after. B defaults to gathering more before deciding. The gap is in how each of you absorbs information, and it has nothing to do with patience. Inside a fundraising window, where every week feels heavier than the last, this difference gets amplified into mutual blame: "you are not rigorous" and "you are slowing me down." Neither is accurate. The mismatch is structural.

A workable move: split decisions into reversible and irreversible. A leads reversible decisions within 24 hours. B leads irreversible decisions with one more pass of evidence. The disagreement does not need to be resolved — it needs to be located, then routed.

That's what a VIPA analysis looks like — specific to what's actually happening in front of you, and specific to what you can do about it.

How VIPA differs from other tools

VIPA gets compared to a lot of things — astrology apps, personality tests, even therapy. Here's where it actually overlaps, and where it doesn't.

Is VIPA astrology? (vs astrology apps)

Closer to yes than no, depending on what you mean. VIPA does use time-of-birth information — that part it shares with astrology, and should be said plainly.

Its lineage is Eastern observational tradition, not Western planetary astrology: it doesn't track planetary movements or sun/moon signs. It does follow daily and monthly energy rhythms, but these are behavioral-pattern reads from the same underlying model — not horoscope-style sign forecasts. Apps like Co-Star center planetary transits and daily mood updates; VIPA reads a specific person, relationship, or decision at a specific moment.

Different lineage, different input model, different job.

How is VIPA different from MBTI

MBTI is a self-report questionnaire that maps your answers into one of 16 personality types. VIPA doesn't need you to describe yourself — the algorithm reads your specific situation directly. The same person reads differently across different times and contexts.

Underneath, the two are inverted. MBTI looks like it gives you a stable "type," but your mood, current phase, and what's happened recently all affect how you answer — the same person often gets sorted into different types at different times. VIPA works the other way around: the read varies with the situation, while the underlying structure itself stays stable — it captures something more essential about who you are.

MBTI is useful when people need a shared vocabulary for broad temperament. VIPA is useful when the question is more immediate: why this conflict keeps repeating, why this decision feels stuck, what pressure is doing to a relationship.

How VIPA relates to psychology

VIPA isn't clinical psychology, but the two overlap in one practical way: both pay attention to the same thing — why people keep producing similar reactions under changing conditions.

Modern psychology has its own language for parts of this territory — schema theory, behavioral pattern recognition, attachment dynamics. VIPA comes from a different lineage, but the useful move is familiar: notice the pattern, name it clearly, make it specific enough to act on. It reads less like a diagnosis and more like a sharp observer telling you — here's the loop you keep falling into.

What VIPA doesn't do

It doesn't predict the future, doesn't make the call for you, doesn't tell you whether your startup will succeed or who to hire — those are yours. What it does is make what's in front of you clearer, while the decision stays with you.

Not medical, legal, or financial advice

VIPA should not be used as medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice. For those decisions, talk to a qualified professional — a doctor, an attorney, an accountant, a financial advisor, or a licensed therapist.

VIPA reads behavioral patterns and situational dynamics, which is a different domain from clinical, legal, or financial expertise. It may help you notice how you're approaching a decision, what pressure is doing to you, or what relationship dynamic is involved. It belongs alongside professional guidance, not in place of it.

Not a substitute for therapy

Therapy and counseling are licensed, relational, clinical work. VIPA is a pattern-analysis tool for specific moments — not a mental-health service.

The two can sometimes complement each other: an analysis may give you language for a pattern you want to discuss with a professional. But it shouldn't be treated as diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, or relationship counseling. If you're dealing with mental-health distress, harm, abuse, addiction, or a serious relationship crisis, talk to a qualified professional first, directly.

How your data is used

Your data is used to: generate the analyses you ask for, maintain your account, make results more accurate over time, and keep the service running.

VIPA doesn't sell user data, doesn't run third-party advertising on analysis content, and doesn't share time-of-birth data with advertising partners. The situations you bring into a decision check are personal, and the product handles them with restraint. You can delete your account and associated data per the privacy policy.
