Why VIPA exists
VIPA was built around one belief: when a call is hard, people want more signal — and the judgment stays with them.
VIPA started with a question its serial founder couldn't put down.
It didn't come out of nowhere. It came after a failure — after a clean offer with everything in order that should have been enough, but he walked away two months later, sat with it long enough to see the question had never been answered.
Building anything is walking into territory no one has mapped — every call, every hire, every pivot made with less information than the moment seems to need. VIPA puts a little more signal into that gap.
The name
Vipa is Sanskrit for radiance — light that makes things visible. Vipassana is Pali for clear seeing — looking at what's actually there before naming it.
One is the light from outside. The other is the eye from within. The same thing, really. VIPA sits between the two words — there to shine the light, and leave the seeing to you.
The call stays yours
That said — it's just a toy. Don't take it too seriously. The call's still yours to make.
